Prerequisites
To join, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Educational Background: Working toward or possessing a High School Equivalency (HSE) diploma (must earn HSE by program completion).
- Age and Residency: Must be at least 18 years old, a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or refugee, and have lived in New York State for at least one year.
- Income and Education Limits: Low to moderate income; no college degree and no more than 33 earned credits.
- Skills Assessment: Meet TABE test requirements with a minimum NRS level of 4.
- Vaccination: Fully vaccinated.
Class Structure
- Schedule: Classes meet Monday through Saturday, with evening and weekend options. Example: Monday/Wednesday from 4:30–9:00 PM, Tuesday/Thursday from 6:00–9:00 PM, and Saturday from 10:00 AM–2:00 PM.
